On Wednesday, April 24th we will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with the young people of our community who are presenting themselves to be sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  In this Sacrament they will complete their Christian initiation and take their place in the Church as apostles, sent forth, filled with the Spirit, to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray for the candidates:      

O Lord, accompany with your blessing from this day forward

         those who will be anointed wityh the Holy Spirit,

         so that with all trials overcome,

         they may gladden your Church by their holiness

         and, through their works and their charity,

         foster here growth in the world.

         Through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
