Like every parish, St. Joseph Parish relies on the generosity of parishioners to maintain our buildings and to enable us to carry out our ministries. Parishioners who contribute their time and talents for ministry and their treasure for the upkeep of our parish buildings, programs and staffing needs make it possible for our community to carry out the mission entrusted to us by the Lord: as missionary disciples, to build up the Kingdom of God in our part of the City of Hamilton and beyond.
Your commitment to support our parish financially is an expression of your faith. It is needed and gratefully appreciated. It ensures that our parish will continue to provide pastoral care for our present parishioners and for generations to come. For this we are truly grateful!
Pre-Authorized Giving

Pre-authorized giving allows you to give to your parish intentionally and faithfully through scheduled monthly transfers from your ban account. Once a month, your account will be debited an amount which you specify. These funds are then deposited directly into the parish’s account.

First, reflect on all that God has given you, and prayerfully decide how much of this you will return to God through your offering to your parish. Then fill out the form below and attach a void cheque in the space provided. Place the completed form in a sealed envelope into the offertory collection, mail the completed form to the parish, or drop it off in person at the parish office.

You may stop your pre-authorized giving by simply writing a letter with 30 days’ notice to the parish office. If you would prefer to use a standardized cancellation form instead of writing a letter, or for more information on your right to cancel your pre-authorized giving agreement, please contact your financial institution or visit www.cdnpay.ca.
You have certain recourse rights if ever any debit to your account does not comply with this agreement. For example, you have the right to receive reimbursement for any debit that is not authorized or is not consistent with this pre-authorized giving agreement. More ways to Give
WEEKLY OFFERING ENVELOPES
Parishioners who wish to contribute to the parish using envelopes, are invited to request a box of envelopes for each Sunday and for authorized special collections. These may be requested by indicating this on your parish registration form or by contacting the parish office.
TAX RECEIPTS
St. Joseph Parish is a registered charitable organization. Receipts for Income Tax purposes are issued annually for donations made to the parish.
CREDIT CARD DONATIONS
Credit card donations are welcome. Simply contact the parish office for more information on contributing to the parish using this means.
ESTATE PLANNING
When planning your estate, be sure to remember your parish, your spiritual home here on earth, and make a contribution to the faith of future generations who will make their spiritual home at St. Joseph Parish.
